Agreement

These terms apply when you use the aMEALi app. By using the app, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

Using the app

aMEALi is licensed to you for personal, non-commercial use. Please don't copy, resell, reverse-engineer, or attempt to circumvent the paid features of the app, and don't use it to break the law or infringe anyone's rights.

Your content

Recipes, photos, videos, notes, and logs you add are yours. We claim no ownership of them and, because they're stored on your device and in your own iCloud account, we don't have access to them.

You're responsible for the content you add. If you import a recipe from a website, video, or cookbook, make sure your use of it respects the rights of whoever created it. Recipes you save from other sources are for your own personal use.

Nutrition and calorie estimates

aMEALi calculates calories from a built-in nutrition database derived from USDA FoodData Central, and — for ingredients it doesn't recognize — from on-device AI estimates. Both are approximations. Actual values vary with brand, portion size, and preparation.

The app is a personal organization and tracking tool. It is not medical, dietary, or nutritional advice, and it is not a substitute for a qualified professional. Don't rely on it to manage a medical condition, an allergy, or a clinical diet. Always check ingredient labels yourself if you have an allergy or dietary restriction.

AI-generated content

Some features use AI to read cooking videos, suggest tags, draft meal ideas, estimate calories, or generate images. AI output can be wrong or incomplete. Review anything the app fills in for you before relying on it — especially imported ingredients and cooking steps.

Certain AI features require Apple Intelligence and are only available on supported devices and operating system versions. Availability may change as Apple updates its platforms.

Subscriptions

aMEALi is free to download and use, including keeping and viewing an unlimited number of recipes. Some features require aMEALi Pro.

What Pro includes

• Unlimited recipe imports from videos and the share sheet (the free plan includes 3 imports per month)
• The Meals section, including saved meals and AI meal tools
• Schedule exports and other Pro features as they're added

Billing

• Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase.
• Monthly and annual plans renew automatically unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
• Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period, at the price shown for your plan.
• The lifetime option is a one-time purchase and does not renew.
• If a free trial is offered, any unused portion is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Managing and cancelling

Manage or cancel your subscription in Settings → your name → Subscriptions on your device. Cancelling stops future renewals; it does not refund the current period. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.

Refunds

Purchases are handled by Apple, so refunds are governed by Apple's policies. Request one through reportaproblem.apple.com. If something went wrong, write to us and we'll try to help.

Price and feature changes

Prices and the features in each plan may change. If a change affects an active subscription, you'll be notified as required by the App Store, and you can cancel before it takes effect. Features already purchased outright won't be taken away.

Your data and backups

Your content is stored on your device and, if enabled, in your iCloud account. Keeping backups is your responsibility. We can't recover content that's deleted from your device and iCloud.

Availability

We aim to keep the app working well, but we don't guarantee it will always be available, uninterrupted, or error-free. Features may change or be removed over time.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The app is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from your use of the app, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the app in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the consumer laws where you live.

Ending access

You can stop using the app at any time by deleting it. We may suspend access if the app is being used in a way that breaks these terms or the law.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed, and continuing to use the app means you accept the current version.
